Podloft Privacy Policy
Effective July 12, 2026
What we collect
Nothing. Podloft has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no Duskmill backend. We have no way to see your prompts, scripts, episodes, listening history, or keys.
Where your content lives
- On your device. Episodes, scripts, transcripts, and settings are stored locally.
- In your iCloud (optional). If iCloud is on, Podloft syncs your library through your personal, private iCloud database (Apple's CloudKit). That data belongs to your Apple account; we cannot access it. Apple's privacy policy governs it.
Your AI provider keys
Podloft works with API keys you supply (for example Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or ElevenLabs). Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are sent only to the provider they belong to, only to perform the generation you asked for. The text you generate with a provider is handled under that provider's terms and privacy policy, on your own account — choose providers you trust.
Network requests the app makes
- Calls to your chosen AI providers, initiated by you, carrying your keys and the content being generated.
- A periodic fetch of Podloft's public model catalog (a static file) so new AI models appear without an app update. This request carries no personal data.
Deleting your data
Delete episodes or shows in the app, remove keys in Settings, or delete the app — everything local goes with it. iCloud-synced copies can be removed from the app or via your iCloud storage settings.
Children
Podloft is not directed at children under 13 and, by design, collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted here with a new effective date. Since we collect nothing, changes should be rare and boring.
